Veuve Clicquot Winter Chalet

The Veuve Clicquot Chalet, open from Friday July 24, is a French Alp-style winter paradise set to have every visitor feeling thoroughly après-ski despite the venue’s sweeping Brisbane River views. Enjoy glasses of Veuve Clicquot NV for $22 and bottles for $120, while bottles of Veuve Clicquot Rosé (the first ever sparkling rosé, developed by the Grande Dame, Madame Clicquot, herself) and Veuve Clicquot 2008 Vintage will be available for your luxe night spent in the Chalet, as well as a selected range of wines and beers.

It wouldn’t be a playful winter retreat without a few cocktails, and the Veuve Clicquot Chalet certainly delivers; a frosty Polish Mule (Belvedere Pure, elderflower syrup, Fever Tree ginger beer, Angostura bitters and lime) or with an Espresso Martini, recline in a cosy chair, and think of (or dream of!) time spent in the French Alps.

The Veuve Clicquot Chalet’s menu combines the best of a mild Queensland winter with classic cold-weather bites, including Hervey Bay scallops with cauliflower puree and chorizo crumb, and whole baked brie with thyme and crostini. For the duration of the pop-up, a citrus poached Moreton Bay Bug croissant with lime mayo, chips with truffle aioli, and a glass of Veuve Clicquot Brut will be available for a cool $40 pp — the perfect way to spend an evening after work, or stop by for a snack on your way up the Saturday night mountain!

Walk-ins are welcome at the Veuve Clicquot Chalet, the terrace has lots of seating with luxe furs and heaters all set up around our Igloos.
